Who We Are
J. Kenneth Fordham, Certified Public Accountant
After earning his bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting from Pennsylvania Military College
(now Widener University), Ken Fordham worked as a corporate accountant with General Motors for ten years.
In 1976, Ken moved to New England and started his own accounting and financial planning practice.
Ken is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Hampshire Society of Certified
Public Accountants. He is also recognized as an expert tax witness by the New Hampshire courts.
Ken has served his community as president of the Souhegan Scholarship Foundation, and a member of the Amherst Lions
club and the Milford Rotary. He was president of the Souhegan Valley Area Chamber of Commerce from 1988 to1990. He
has organized annual roadside cleanups in Amherst, and is a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) for neglected
children in New Hampshire.
Ann Gohng, Accounting Assistant
Born and raised in Korea, Ann Gohng attended college and graduate school in New England, and now lives in Nashua.
Since 2002, Ann has assisted Ken with tax preparation, bookkeeping and office management.
Ann holds an associate's degree in business administration and accounting from Middlesex Community College, a
bachelor's degree in psychology from Saint Anselm College, and a master's degree in library science from Simmons College.
Company Background
In 1997, Ken merged his 21-year-old accounting and financial planning practice with a larger New Hampshire firm. During
the following three years, Ken found that the large-firm setting hindered his ability to deliver the highly personalized
services he'd previously offered through his private practice.
In 2000, Ken left the larger firm to reestablish his private practice in Amherst. His clients' response was remarkable.
Scores of loyal clients who had stuck with him through the 1997 merge followed him right back into private practice in
2000.
Well-known among Souhegan Valley residents for his expertise, honesty, friendliness, professionalism and discretion, Ken
now runs a thriving private practice from his Amherst offices.
